Svečina - Bad Radkersburg

The trip from Svečina to Bad Radkersburg will start with a short climb that will enable you the more leisurely ride through Austria’s winemaking Styria region. Pedal through picturesque vineyards and rolling countryside, enjoying the peaceful ambiance along the way. As you approach Bad Radkersburg (Radgona), be captivated by its historic charm, quaint streets, and cultural attractions.

Maribor

Your trip starts in Maribor, Slovenia’s second biggest city, known for its hospitality. Upon arrival you will be handed all the information that you need before you hit the road: detailed itinerary, information about extras and other practical things. Then you can enjoy beautiful city center next to the Drava River!

Bad Radkersburg (AUT) - Ormož (SLO)

On this day, you will start your ride with a loop over the rolling terrain in Goriška Brda, so you will get the chance to see the small villages and vineyards from different angles. Then you will descend into the valley, to Nova Gorica town, and onwards to Carst. This completely different, yet equally picturesque region will again welcome you with its cuisine and first and foremost with perfect backroads for your ride. Just you, your bike and no one else to spoil the peace!

Ormož - Murska Sobota

Pedal through rolling hills, lush farmlands, and charming villages as you journey towards Murska Sobota. Along the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of the Prekmurje region, known for its picturesque countryside, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality, making for a delightful and rewarding cycling adventure. Stop for a cold “špricer”, white wine mixed with sparkling water, along the way.

Moravske Toplice

The most northwestern part of Slovenia has some culinary secrets to reveal! Begin by pedaling through quaint villages, where you can admire traditional architecture and sample local culinary specialities. Continue your journey along peaceful cycling paths, passing by scenic vineyards, rolling hills, and the picturesque Mura River. Wine cellars along the way will make your last day of cycling a pure delight. Then you can rest in the natural spa.
